MIN HELGEN

Sun Jun 22, 2008, 5:16 PM
My weekend was mix of laziness and Britishness (or are they the same thing now?). Saturday, I should've spent time with my family, because my parents were having their wedding anniversary, or other (something like that anyway), but I was bedridden due to feeling like crap the second I woke up. I had a headache, eyes hurt and I generally felt depressed anyway. I spent most of the day thinking of someone else. So I dig out some PS1 games and played Final Fantasy VI all day, food was taken up (I demanded meat and beer, they declined).

Sunday was a lot better, and British. I went on a walk with my mum and my brother to some part of St. Ives (a town nearby) that I've never seen before; a nature reserve, albeit constricted with stinging nettles. THEN we went to tea shop and sipped tea like real British twats.

Most of the weekend though, I've watched Jeeves and Wooster, the early 90's TV adaption of the Jeeves works by P.G. Wodehouse. It's epic, and funny. Also the characters are so British, I felt alienated watching it even. It has Hugh Laurie (this was fourteen years before House as Wooster and Stephen Fry as Jeeves.

[link] - Top of the league. Everyone put £5 towards this, so this means I will get moneyz. But I'd be happy enough to win my first fantasy football league.

I was sad to see Sweden lose to Russia. ;(

Anyway, my weekend must've been boring compared to most. I want to write a romantic poem next.

Have a nice week.

(The mood is wrong, I can't change it, it should be set to Mood: Content. Not that anyone should be interested ANYWAY.)

  • Mood: Desperate
  • Listening to: Led Zeppelin - Misty Mountain Hop
  • Reading: Nothing
  • Watching: Euro 08, Doctor Who, Jeeves and Wooster
  • Playing: Final Fantasy VI
  • Eating: Whatever's left in the kitchen
  • Drinking: Water

GG on the football stuff. Moneis are always handy.

But Russia beat Holland so I'm all happy. :3
:iconheerenveen:
i will spent it on dinner should we have an evening out in august <3

it could've been sweden who beat holland though, you know
:iconannien:
lolawww. we can go to william's. british pub with an indian kitchen. IT CAN'T GO WRONG

meh. better luck next time.

also it's "min helg" not "helgen". so you know.
:iconheerenveen:
british pubs are taking credit for other nation's kitchens? india was in the brit empire after all olololol. i would love to take you out for dinner there then, even if you are the host.

henrik larsson said he hasn't played his last game for sweden. just as well, it would've been his third international retirement or something. HE SHALL NEVER GIVE UP.

i'm still learning, k. i'll be taking up a swedish course in september, i think, as teaching myself is evidently flawed.

also, my mum says "oh hi".
:iconannien:
it would be an easy place to go to, because the menus will be in english and the food is good. i just have problems finding the place. x_x

who the fuck cares about henrik. it's all about zlatan.

why you wanna learn the swedish anyway???

say "hi? hi" back pls.
:iconheerenveen:
swedish-type resturaunts must be good though. the only swedish places of cuisene in britain are ikeas. this is inadequate.

if zlatan had hinted at international retirement, i will give up watching international football forevar.

it's a hard language for any person like me and i fancy it'd be a good use of spare time. you said i should learn swedish, a few weeks ago. i believe it could become handy in the future anyway.

orrrrr you could email her yerself? i'll understand if you are still too busy.
:iconannien:
lol i can't find any swedish places of cuisene in uppsala besides this place that's really fucking expensive, so no thx. dad will cook swedish stuffs.

oh dear.

perhaps.

hush. my emails are like well-stored wines. they get better the longer i think about writing them.
:iconheerenveen:
i am looking forward to this dad's cooking that i keep hearing about too. i would be willing to take you out for dinner anywhere. even if it were chinese, of which i only eat RICE.

fine. my parents are eager to speak with you again.

i am eager to talk to you again too.
