MIN HELGEN

Sun Jun 22, 2008, 5:16 PM
My weekend was mix of laziness and Britishness (or are they the same thing now?). Saturday, I should've spent time with my family, because my parents were having their wedding anniversary, or other (something like that anyway), but I was bedridden due to feeling like crap the second I woke up. I had a headache, eyes hurt and I generally felt depressed anyway. I spent most of the day thinking of someone else. So I dig out some PS1 games and played Final Fantasy VI all day, food was taken up (I demanded meat and beer, they declined).

Sunday was a lot better, and British. I went on a walk with my mum and my brother to some part of St. Ives (a town nearby) that I've never seen before; a nature reserve, albeit constricted with stinging nettles. THEN we went to tea shop and sipped tea like real British twats.

Most of the weekend though, I've watched Jeeves and Wooster, the early 90's TV adaption of the Jeeves works by P.G. Wodehouse. It's epic, and funny. Also the characters are so British, I felt alienated watching it even. It has Hugh Laurie (this was fourteen years before House as Wooster and Stephen Fry as Jeeves.

[link] - Top of the league. Everyone put £5 towards this, so this means I will get moneyz. But I'd be happy enough to win my first fantasy football league.

I was sad to see Sweden lose to Russia. ;(

Anyway, my weekend must've been boring compared to most. I want to write a romantic poem next.

Have a nice week.

(The mood is wrong, I can't change it, it should be set to Mood: Content. Not that anyone should be interested ANYWAY.)

Hi

Tue Jun 17, 2008, 9:58 AM
So I haven't done much at all to help with Sigourney 08. Same with all large story ideas, it'd be 2009 by the time I even get close to starting it. I've only written poems. Mostly fictional but partially inspired by people I know.

My brother is back from Uni, I've spent a lot more time with my friends in the past week (I saw Indy 4 with Chris, Phil, Simon and Josh last Wednesday), I have the option of getting a new job, I made up with my Dad about a fight we had but I STILL feel bad. At the very least, I'm still bloody bored time to time but at the most, I miss a friend I have a lot. At the same time, I realise she has problems of her own and that the last thing she needs is pressure and yet another guy swarming around her. Like fish in a lake. There are more fish in the SEA for her too.

Playing football tomorrow, although I'm not going to miss the decider between Sweden and Russia. Heja Sverige.

I need a new sound card for my laptop, apparently. Then I'll be able to talk to people on Skaip, finally.

My brother is shouting, gotta go. Amuse yourself with this "Mood: Desperate" gif.

  • Mood: Desperate
  • Listening to: Feeder - Child in You
  • Reading: Nothing
  • Watching: Euro 08
  • Playing: Football, at some point

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVICCCCCCC!!!!!!!!

SVERIGE 2 - OILED UP GREEK HOMO EURO 04 CHAMPIONS 0

This victory also reflects well on my team - WHICH I HAVE TO POST SOMEWHERE - which is doing well, considering all the other teams have David Villa in them.

ANYWAy, I think I'll be finding myself trying to write more poems than spending time on the Sigourney 08 idea. This is only the more heartwarming for me anyway.

Another European tournament without the UK

Mon Jun 2, 2008, 1:08 PM
... Which is the Euro 08, due to start in a week. I'm excited nonetheless.

I made a journal about football because I wanted somewhere to show off my fantasy football team for the tournament - "Gå Sverige" (I had promised to pledge support to Sweden through a friend, due to the lack of British sides).

Nothing art-worthy to report apart from the progress in planning Sigourney 08, which is sloooow.

I finished reading Let The Right One In this morning.

Have a nice week.

KthxBAI.

Writing again, at the planning stage of what could be a moderately sized short story. The story is about a US Presidential candidate who is approached about his White House aspirations by a Nymph. Does that sound crazy? I bloodly well hope so.

It'll be called Sigourney 08. However I have to admit my mind hit a deadlock in the middle of planning today. Just when you think you have a good idea that's going to go swimmingly, there are several loose ends that have vied unnoticed.

I played GTA IV a bit, as my brother was here for a couple days. I got as far as Algonquin (which is quite far for... 6 hours of play, apparently). The game looks stylish, but I'm getting over the hype of a GTA game now. That's 14 months before I even reach my 18th birthday.

I've forgotten what order the listening to box is supposed to have "Artist's name here - Song name here", or if it's the other way around. I switched it from last week anyway. I'm listening to music my friend Alex gave me.

I have the house all to myself all night and very, very little people left off/online to talk to. This doesn't even hinder how... ZESTy I'm feeling right now. Although I do earnestly miss how things used to be just a few months ago. Oh well.

  • Mood: Zest
  • Listening to: Erasure - A Little Respect
  • Reading: Let The Right One In, Nineteen Eighty-Four
  • Watching: Nothing
  • Playing: GTA IV
  • Eating: Whatever's left in the kitchen
  • Drinking: Juice
